With over 99 islands to choose from you have a lot to enjoy in Langakawi. Island hopping is a popular sport here. One interesting way to explore the islands, besides hopping onto a boat, is by kayak. You can rent one and take your time rowing around the islands.

Pulau Payar Marine Park
This wonderful marine park sanctuary for marine life comprises four islands, namely Pulau Payar, Pulau Lembu, Pulau Segantang and Pulau Kaca. Pulau Payar has some of the best diving sites in West Malaysia, as it teems with a fascinating array of hard and soft corals and multicolored tropical fishes. There are also interesting artificial reefs at Pulau Kaca and Pulau Lembu. The park is open all year round but the best time to visit is between February and November.

Fossils
The Langkawi islands are rich in fossils of ancient and extinct seacreatures from over 542 million years ago.
