Wonton noodle or wantan mee is a Cantonese noodle dish which is popular in Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Singapore. The dish is usually served in hot soup, garnished with leafy vegetables, and wonton. The types of leafy vegetables used are usually kailan also known as Chinese kale. Another type of dumpling known as shui jiao is sometimes served in place of wonton. It contains prawns, chicken or pork, spring onions with some chefs adding mushroom and black fungus.

This round, we went to Shi Fu Wantan Mee Restaurant, Cheras, to taste the springy, beautiful texture and slightly crunchy wantan noodles ! The prawn wantan were really crunchy, springy and fresh. I loved it.

That’s what makes this place special and always thronged by a big big crowd. On sunday evening, u can see ppl flocking to it! However, one thing lucky is their servie is fast and that cut down the waiting time.

Dry Wantan Mee

They serve a very tasty "char siew" (pork) rice

Wantan Mee with Soup, you must try this, look at the size of dumpling!!!

The curry mee is also excellent.

I’m not an avid fan for wan tan mee, but i find that the noodle are really nice and a bit bouncy as what they are famous for. Besides, their "char siew" (pork) are superb.
