Asia is truly the land of adventure. With such diversity in climate and natural terrain, there is something exciting to offer every adventurer.
In Asia, you’ll find beautiful tropical islands that offer clear blue waters, lush green forests that are rich in flora and fauna, hills and mountains that vary from slightly undulating slopes to steep cliffs of sheer limestone rock faces to the tallest, snow-peaked mountains in the world.
Adventure Show Asia is an exposition that will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for 3 days in October 2009. The event is designed to promote Asia as a choice destination for extreme sports enthusiasts, thrill seeking tourists and adventure seekers alike. It will focus on promoting activities that are water or sea based, land based and sky based. The activities and sports promoted will include the motorised as well as the non-motorised sports and activities.

Show Highlights
• Vertica Asia 2009 Speed Climbing Competition
 | This international speed climbing competition will be held in conjunction with the show. Come and see climbers from Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, The Philippines and Malaysia compete for this inaugural Vertica Asia Title. The competition dates are on the 10th & 11th October. Public trials will be allowed on Friday, the 9th October only. This competition is presented by the Mad Rock Climbing Club and is co-organised by Delta Rovers Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. And Able Two Events Sdn. Bhd. |
• 4X4 Zone
| The 4X4 Zone will comprise a special jungle set up that includes a fully modified 4WD vehicle to give you a feel of what this kind of adventure has in store for you. There will even be some interesting wildlife to make the “jungle experience” all the more authentic. This 4X4 Zone is presented by Jungle Expeditions & Explorer Sdn. Bhd. |  |
• Wilderness Experience
 | If you’ve never tried camping out in the wilderness before then this is the perfect opportunity to find out more about what living in the great outdoors entails. There will be demonstrations on how to use the equipment and presentations on what you will need to be ready for your adventure. |

• Outdoor Apparel Show
 | Being in the outdoors you need to be practical about what you are wearing, and this can be fashionable too. Just come and check out the outdoor gear fashion show and learn to choose the right wear for the right adventure. |

• Surfing Presentation & Simulator Tryouts
| If you have ever wanted to try your hand at surfing but thought it was too difficult or didn’t where to begin, then this presentation will answer all those questions and more. What’s more, visitors to the show will have the opportunity to feel what it is like to balance on a surfboard. This presentation is by Blue Forest. |  |
• Environment Awareness Talks
 | Learn how to have an adventure in the great outdoors without doing any harm to the environment. These presentations are by our NGO partners. |
• Adventure Photography Exhibition
There will be an exhibition on adventure photography, both on land and underwater. The exhibition will be based on four categories:
