Mag Inc winners are in for new adventures at the resort.

The new exciting four-dimension motion master ride The Adventures of Jett and Jin located at the indoor theme park of Genting’s First World Plaza.

Now in its second season, Dreamz, is set to mesmerise its audience with additional supernatural feats.

DO you dream of adventure that extends to the far reaches of the oceans and the mountains tops? The three lucky runners-up teams of our Mag Inc 2009 contest are in for just the experience when Genting, City of Entertainment, whisks them away to an unforgettable three-day, two-night stay in Genting Highlands Resort, just 45 minutes from Kuala Lumpur.

Fifteen students and their teachers are set for new adventures as they brave the unknown and the world of mysterious creatures at the hilltop theme park resort as Genting plays host once again to The Star and Pizza Hut’s Newspaper-in-Education (NiE) contest winners.

Two new exciting four-dimension motion master rides are in store; The Adventures Of Jett & Jin and Monsters Of The Deep.

Upgraded in November 2005, Genting was touted as the first theme park to introduce the exhilarating four-dimension motion master rides in Malaysia!

Located at the indoor theme park of First World Plaza, The Adventures of Jett and Jin is an engaging eight-minute wild journey to school! You will join Jett, and his cat, Jin, as they snap into their self-made jetpacks and take-off to make it in time for school.

You’ll outflank cars as you fly by the highway. Feel the wind in your hair and the invigorating mist-like spray as you zoom past thrilling pathways! When traffic gets too rough, try a nifty shortcut underground. Board only if you are confident you can keep up with the twists and turns or you will get blown to smithereens against the skyscrapers.

That which lurks beneath the vast ocean has long captured our imagination. If you think that the Great White shark is the scariest creature in the ocean, you are in for a serious reality check in Monsters Of The Deep!

Take the challenge and slip into your scuba gear to swim with some of the most unique sea creatures. A docile green turtle, whose predecessors date back some 75 million years, will guide you through several geological periods for an up, close and personal encounter with over 20 genuine sea monsters in this astounding 4D feature. You will travel back in time, when the seas were swimming with aggressive predators. Rest assured, you will get caught up in the feeding frenzy!

When students and teachers need to take a break after an engaging day at the theme park (and from excessive G-force!), they will be treated to Genting’s popular resident show — Dreamz — at the Pavilion.

Travel the magical journey with the beautiful princess who falls asleep only to awaken in a dream shrouded in mystery.

Share her awe as she meets fascinating characters in colourful landscapes. Escape to the world of illusions as two princes compete for her love and vie for her affection. Get caught up in amazing optical illusions as the battle for her hand intensifies in a world of supernatural feats.

Now in its second season, Dreamz is set to further mesmerise audience with additional performances. The new acts, Globe of Death, introduces a fifth rider to the daredevil motorcyclist troupe. Other highlights include The Million Dollar Act by illusionist Enrique Polo and The Shadow Box and Mirror by illusionist Aliaksandr Huretski. Audience will also be introduced to playful Kaos, the four-month old white lion cub from South Africa and rising star of Lion’s Pride.

The world-class show, which is wholly produced by Genting, City of Entertainment, boasts a strong cast of two acclaimed international illusionists, daredevil motorcyclists from Brazil and Spain, an acrobatic troupe from China and professional dancers from Belarus and Ukraine. Audience will also be enchanted by melodious Armenian music in the fantasy world of Dreamz.

Get cracking! Whip your issues on teenage angst into shape and translate them into a magazine entry and a video clip. You and your team might just be boarding the two-way journey courtesy of the Genting Express Bus at the end of the year!
