Genting Goes Green Flora & Fauna Photography Competition 2009

Genting is proudly to present, a photography competition called the Genting Goes Green Flora & Fauna Photography Competition 2009. The competition is all about the best picture of beautiful flora or fauna located all around this resort.

The date for the competition is from 1 March 2009 to 15 May 2009. The Competition Category (Types) will be "Trees, Flowers and Plants" and "Birds, Insects and Animals"

The contest will be divided into 2 categories, which are Open Category (Malaysian & Foreigner) and Student Category (13-18 years old). There are so many attractive prizes are for grab, which are:

1st Prize

Malaysia Nature Society Membership Card (1 year)

2nd Prize
RM3,000 cash

On top of that, there are also:

In addition, Genting with collaboration of Malaysia Nature Society will conduct a guided tour in order to give the opportunity for participant to get the best shot of the nature, ensuring safety of the entire participant when trekking along the jungle as well as ensuring that environmental protection is adhered to. The dates for the guided tour are:

17 and 18 March 2009 (open for students only)
28 and 29 March 2009
11 and 12 April 2009
25 and 26 April 2009
9 and 10 May 2009

The guided tour is limited to 15 people per session.

The tour is based on first come first served.

Each contestant is required to personally register with ALFA International College (AIC) by completing and submitting the registration form to AIC together with two (2) passport size photographs and RM10 as registration fees which will include the payment for the procurement of a personal accident insurance policy. Upon completion of the registration, the contestant shall be given an authorization pass.
